Support to Vadodara City Traffic Police

In a commendable initiative to protect city traffic personnel from the intense summer heat, Gujarat launched its first-ever project of this kind in Vadodara.
Led by the Honorable Police Commissioner Shri, specially curated protective kits were distributed to on-duty traffic police officers. These kits included sunglasses, water bottles, daily buttermilk and other essentials ensuring that officers on duty remain hydrated and shielded during peak daytime temperatures.
This impactful initiative marked a proud moment for US India Seva Club and the Rotary Club of Baroda Sayajinagari which played a pivotal role by contributing Rs. 70,000 towards the success of this project.

Distribution of Entrance Test Books

Government of India tries hard to make sure that each child gets best of education till Grade 12 which will help them to live a good life as a human. Specially for very poor and underprivileged children, since long government has academic institutions like Navoday Vidyalaya which will provide education with hostel facilities for FREE till education of grade 12. Student of grade 5 and 8 have to appear for an entrance exam for the same to qualify for it. There are some books available which will help these students prepare at level best. Many schools in remote villages are looking for these books for their students. We are trying to support some of them by gifting around 30 sets of such books at approximate cost of Rs 25,500. The first phase will be of 30 books this month.

Kashiben Gordhandas Patel Children Hospital is a tertiary care pediatric hospital serving the poor & needy people of Vadodara, Central Gujarat and neighboring states, of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan & Maharashtra which has served more than 2.5 million children till now. KGP Children Hospital is looking for few new instruments worth Rs. 2.5 Lakh for child treatment and this Interferential Therapy Unit is one of them which is going to be beneficial for thousands of child patients.

Eye Check Up Camp

US-India Seva Club & RCBS jointly conducted Eye Check Up Camp at Sevasi Primary School, Sevasi which was supported by Sankara Eye Hospital.
Investigative card Pink card given to students who need further check up and treatment, also called parent to inform that they need further treatment. Treatment and correction glasses are free of charge to all of them.

Eye Check Up Camp at Karnali Primary School

US-India Seva Club, Pujaris of Shree Kubereeshwar Mahadev, Karnali & RCBS jointly conducted Eye Check Up Camp at Karnali which was supported by Sankara Eye Hospital.
From villagers, identified 10 Cataract Surgery Patients, 7 agreed for FREE operation, lens, transportation, stay, food, medicines all at Sankar Eye Foundation, Mogar and reached there as well. 2 Adults need glasses and US-India Seva Club will get them glasses. Few students also identified who need glasses. Shankara Eye Foundation may provide them with FREE Glasses else we will try to do so.

Travel Bags for Blind Girl Students

Supporting Thousands of Child Patients

Medical Care Centre Trust manages Kashiben Gordhandas Patel Children Hospital which has many departments including Cancer, Tumour, Cardiology, Nephrology, Hemo Dialysis, Blood Transfusion and many more for children who are just born to younger ones. Many of these departments needed educational items and toys to keep them engaged and happy while they are being treated.
US-india Seva Club & RCBS donated 50 sets of Coloring Books & Crayon Boxes, 2 Sets of Feel & Touch Mats, 3 Sets of Doctor’s toy kits and 3 Sets of Building Blocks to support this need. It will be beneficial to thousands of child patients being treated at this hospital on regular basis.

Highest numbers of mosquito bites and other insects causes highest number of people suffering with malaria and other diseases. Specially young generation suffers a lot.
